Our Delivery Options
Our standard delivery is £9.99 for MAINLAND UK. This covers packages up to 24kg (This is a box of 24 x 500ml bottles) Over this is weight the delivery is plus another £9.99 up to 48kg. All weighting for delivery cost is worked out at the till. If you have any queries on the courier cost please do drop us an email on: info@curioushop.com
Beers will be delivered by courier within 7 working days. Mainland UK only.
We currently do not mail order to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands. We are working on this offering. The postcodes we DO NOT currently deliver to are: AB37-38, AB41-56, FK17-21, IV1-20, IV21-28, IV30-37, IV40-51, IV52-56, IV63, KA27-28, KW1-17, PA20-35, PA36-49, PA62-76, PH15-26, PH 30-44, PH49-50, HS1-9, ZE1-3. We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
How Our Delivery Works
As soon as you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail from the courier. Once your beers are ready for dispatch, you will receive a further shipment confirmation e-mail providing details of your delivery. Our couriers, will then be in touch with a tracking number that you can use on their website to find out the very latest information on your delivery.
If you are not in when delivery is made, and a safe place has not been specified, then a card will be left with contact details for you to arrange another delivery. Should subsequent delivery attempts fail, the goods will return to The Curious Hop, and a full credit for the product will be issued. You will forfeit the delivery charge. Should you contact us to arrange re-dispatch, we will charge a further (standard) delivery cost to your account.
We strongly advise against leaving goods without a signature, and will not be held liable for any losses incurred this way. Please note that we are not permitted by law to leave alcoholic goods with anyone who cannot prove they are over 18.
At peak times of the year (notably pre-Christmas), it may not always be possible to deliver within our standard 7 working days. In these rare instances, we will contact you to inform you of the estimated delivery date, and strive to get your beers with you as soon as possible.
